Good condition, minor rubbing and discoloration of covers, copy uncut. An account of captivity in the Soviet POW camp at Starobielsk, where the author was sent as a Polish officer in the fall of 1939. He was one of the few who was transferred to another camp, thus saving his life. The other POWs became victims of the Katyn massacre.
