Fourteen numismatic plates for T. Czacki's work "On Polish and Lithuanian Laws"; ten of them drawn and engraved by Aleksander Orłowski, four by Jan Ligber. "Orlowski's engravings in particular go far beyond a technically faithful reproduction of numismatic coins. The portraits of Polish kings on the coins are cut with a line full of expression and chiaroscuro, with the individuality of both the portrayed and the artist himself being highlighted [...]. In turn, how he valued his work is evidenced by the fact that on each plate he placed a full signature at the bottom: 'Al. Orłowski fecit.'" (Banach, p. 50). Finally, thirteen plates with likenesses of ancient manuscripts and royal signatures. Infrequent.
