Stanislaw Chwalczewski (d. 1567 in Raszkow) - politician of pre-partition Poland, translator, historian. Brother of Jerzy and Piotr Chwalczewski. He was a native of Raszków in today's Ostrów district. From 1529 he served in the army of Emperor Charles V, later at the court of Queen Bona. From 1536 he was starosta of Krzemieniec, from 1545 he was starosta of Kobrin, from 1552 he was starosta of Pinsk, Klecki, Horodels. In 1553-1555 he reformed, on Bona's recommendation, her Polesie estates. Toward the end of his life he settled in his hometown of Raszków and there translated into Polish the Chronicle of Poland by Maciej Miechowita.
