Stamp of the Badenichs' Radzych library (with the Bończa coat of arms), blind stamp on the frontispiece page of Mark and Charlotte Potocki (with Pilawa), gilt Pilawa coat of arms on the front cover. Two gilt signboards on the spine. The last book by K. Chlędowski (1843-1920), an extremely popular writer, cultural researcher and popularizer of Italian culture before WWII. Describes a tumultuous period in French history, the slaughter of the Huguenots, the history of Henry III Valois.
