Good condition. Few notations and underlining in pencil. Translated from English. Includes: The leadership anti-Soviet clique in the State Department, Intelligence activities of the American embassy [in Moscow], American embassy speculators, Why the rulers of the United States are saber-rattling. The author about herself: "I am an American by birth. I love my homeland and have served it sincerely and selflessly. Nevertheless, over the past year I have decided to stay permanently in the Soviet Union, which I have come to know and love." The author worked at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow in the late 1940s, married a Russian opera singer (and KGB collaborator), and decided to remain in the USSR. The book presented here, bearing her name, was in fact written by propaganda specialists in the KGB.
