BORYSLAW 1924. Typescript, partly manuscript book containing technical information on the installation of kerosene processing equipment in the boiler house of the "Stanislaw" section of the "Carpathian" company in Tustanovice.
Cover corners rubbed, good condition. Book form. 36x23.5 cm, f. [69 - many folios] + slipcase with appendices, original cloth cover. On the front cover photo of the shafts and industrial buildings of Boryslaw. The first chapter is devoted to the mixture burner constructed by Ing. Psarski and produced by the company"'Karpaty", the second to the locomotive boiler. Further pages present texts by W. Wisniowski: "On the specific heat of gases and the temperature of combustion", "On gas mixtures of paraffinic hydrocarbons with each other and with hydrogen", "Calculation of losses depending on the composition and quantity of flue gases when firing boilers with natural gas", "On the loss caused by the use of steam for burner propulsion" and three more. The book ends with "Journal. Boryslav-Tustanovice," reporting on 3 pages on the course of assembly work carried out from July 8 to August 21, 1924 under the direction of Eng. Jamroz. The appendix, placed at the end, contains tables showing the results of control measurements made in VIII 1924, technical drawings, diagrams.
