Binding: green cloth, gilt and decorated on spine and on face. Abrasions, soiling and stains of the binding, pages creased due to moisture, traces of soiling. Includes, among others: Years in France; Powazki; Relations with the King; Norblin's School. Jean-Pierre Norblin de La Gourdaine (1745-1830) - painter, draughtsman and printmaker, brought to Poland by the Czartoryskis (1774). One of the most outstanding painters of the Stanislawski period, father of Polish genre painting.
