Jurand's Choir - was founded in the autumn of 1932 in Warsaw. Its founders at the time were: Jerzy Koszutski , a composer who used the pseudonym Jurand , and Marian Rottengruber, a singer who performed under the name Ryszard Marrot. In addition to quite a number of performances in theaters, Jurand's Choir often gave concerts on Polish Radio and on the stage, its concerts in military units were very numerous, and it also performed abroad, including in the USSR. The choir specialized in grotesque songs and musical parodies. It also sang couplets and Gypsy and Russian romances. It existed for a period of 22 years.
