Zincographic print on ark. 12.4x9.8 cm. Tower of the Lviv city hall, ideographic mark of the artist below. Composition by Rudolf Mękicki (autoexlibris) signed on the plate with monogram R. M. Very slight traces of glue on the back, good condition.
R. Mękicki (1887-1942) - graphic artist, creator of ex-librises (ca. 160), book covers and illustrations, curator of the National Museum in Lviv, bibliophile. His library, collected in Lviv, included about 2,000 items, mainly in numismatics, heraldry and ex-libris. He had an extensive numismatic and iconographic collection and a collection of ex-librises.
