Diary written by a prisoner of the Warsaw Ghetto

The book is a document, as someone put it, "from the bottom of hell." It was not intended by the author as a literary work or as material for publication. These are laconic, at times chaotic, seemingly random, dry, sometimes allusive notes by the president of the Jewish Community in the Warsaw Ghetto. The notes are kept until the last moments before he committed suicide.
