Stanislaw Zgainski (1907-1944) - graphic artist and painter, teacher, bibliophile. He cultivated book graphics, made primarily in the form of woodcuts. For much of his life he was professionally connected with Szamotuły, where he taught geography and drawing, among other things. He died in the Gross-Rosen camp.
