400 Years of Augustow (1961)

Augustow - a city in northeastern Poland, in Podlaskie Province, the seat of Augustow County and Augustow rural municipality.

A royal town of the Augustow starosty in the Bielsk land of the Podlaskie province in 1795. A government town of the Congress Kingdom, it was located in 1827 in the Dabrowa district, Augustow county of the Augustow province. From 1975 to 1998 the town belonged to the Suwałki province.

A unique edition of the city monograph, published by the Social Committee for the Celebration of the 400th Anniversary of Augustow.
