Ex. after professional conservation, good condition. Owner's signature. Witold Zechenter, a Cracow poet and translator. The fourth Nativity Scene of the Green Balloon. "It was already a big show, a normal performance stretched over two or three hours. It featured more than a dozen people, including Herod (F. A. Łat), Jacek Symbolewski [...], M. Y. Cielski [...], Grandfather-Solski and a number of others. The thing was broken into three acts with a prologue and an intermedium. In this way, the Nativity of the Green Balloon became a milestone in the evolution of the Cracovian nativity scene, which grew out of the sacred spectacle a few centuries ago" (J. P. Gawlik "Return to the Den", Kr. 1961, pp. 104-106).
