A complete novel cycle by Alexandre Dumas, set in France from the marriage of Louis XVI to Marie Antoinette to the guillotining of the king, the further fate of Marie Antoinette until her death is presented in the last novel "Chevalier de Maison-Rouge" formally not part of the cycle. "Memoirs of a Physician" consists of the following parts:
