"Accurater Abriss der Stadt Bresslau im Herzogthum Schlesiem."
Under the plan, legend with numbered markings 1-68, A-Z, a-tt; below it, on the right, signature of the engraver: J.D. Schleuen Sculpsit. Berolini. 1741.
Original copperplate engraving, 1741, 42 x 55.5 cm (plate imprint approx. 48 x 57.5 cm), framed 70.5 x 78.5 cm.
First state (publishing variant) of a very rare perspective plan of Breslau from the southeast, made by Berlin engraver Johann Schleuen, according to a drawing by Frederick Bernard Werner. The more common, later variant, issued after 1749, had corrected cartographic content, a richer legend, but did not give a signature with the year of preparation/issue.
Condition: very good print, piece after conservation (a few tears at the bottom and left were glued), not very visible creases.
