First French edition of a collection of short stories by E. A. Poe, with a preface and translation by C. Baudelaire. The volume contains 13 short stories written between 1832 and 1845, and is dedicated in print (in verse) by the translator to Maria Clemm, Poe's aunt and also mother-in-law.
