Cover slightly rubbed and stained, block cracked, minor stains inside. Fragments of the book including the original front cover and spine, intended for booksellers to familiarize themselves with the planned publication and place an order for it - according to Empireum (94, 309), the publisher's binding was designed by Aleksander Semkowicz.
"Polish Life" is among the peak scientific achievements of W. Lozinski. It had more than a dozen editions, including several typographically exquisite ones. The third edition of 1912 is widely regarded as the most beautiful.
