E. Wasilewski(1814-1846) - a singer of Krakow, known as "the poet of the Free City of Krakow," considered the most outstanding Krakow poet before Stanislaw Wyspianski (according to Wikipedia). Vasilevskiy is the author of famous and popular patriotic poems such as: "To Wawel, to Wawel, krakowiak żwawy!" and "Płynie Wisła, płynie po polskiej krainie".
