Olaf, son of Audun (Norwegian: Olav Audunssøn i Hestviken) - a two-volume novel by Sigrid Undset, Norwegian writer, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, published in 1925-1927. It consists of two parts, Olaf, son of Audun on Hestwiken and Olaf, son of Audun and his children.
Olaf's family estate, Hestviken, is located in Follo, on the east side of Oslofjorden. Undset described the place based on the topography and local names found in the area.
The novel was first published in Poland in 1937-1938, translated by Wanda Kragen. Along with Christine, daughter of Lavrans, the novel about Olaf was the basis for Undset's 1928 Nobel Prize for Literature, which she received for her , "unforgettable description of the Scandinavian Middle Ages.
