Santine (1798-1865) - French novelist and playwright, with illustrations by G. Doré (woodcuts - 6 full-page and 159 in the text), in which the illustrator depicted all his favorite motifs, such as giants and gods, goblins and elves, gnomes and bears, knights, in an elegant period binding.
