(Estr. T. 21, this edition does not note.) Contains a description of the world and its kingdoms by the Danzig lawyer and city secretary Luke Linde (1624-1660). In this compilation work, the author gave a geographical description of each country discussed in turn, followed by a brief outline of their history, system, religion, culture and customs. In the chapters on Poland, he devoted considerable space to his hometown. Among the descriptions noteworthy are the passages relating to the countries of Canada and America (including California) where he included information on the native inhabitants. Linde Lukas (1625-1660), secretary of Danzig, author of panegyrics and geographic-historical description of the world. The work was translated into Italian by Maiolino Bisaccioni (1582-1663), historian and Italian scholar, who greatly expanded and improved the translated work. Nice piece, near fine condition, rare.
