Poland's first professional study of fish farming and fishing, first printing. Considered a precursor work, it undertook the most extensive range of subject knowledge and experience of the era. Lithographed illustrations feature images of tackle, including artificial lures, for the first time in Polish literature.
Piece complete, preserved in excellent condition, minimal local discoloration of a few pages, minor rubbing of the title page, a few underlining in pencil. Original publisher's stamp on the last page. Book in decorative traditional leather binding made by Antykwariat Polski.
