In vol. 1st preserved front cover of booklet, in 2nd vol. cover of booklet. Taped to front cover. Binding abrasions, bottom of spine of vol. 2. glued with a strip of leather, difference in height of books about 0.5 cm. Stains and rust spots on pages in places, underlining in pen on 3 pages, own signature on title page, traces of woodworm on about half of pages in vol. 1. The 1848-49 Polish edition is a translation and elaboration of the 1821 German-language edition published in Prague.
