Compendium of knowledge about Poland, created in cooperation with prominent scholars; Marian Gumowski Jan Bystron, Kazimierz Tymieniecki, among others. Volumes 1 and 2 discuss the history of the Polish lands, from prehistoric times to the present, including heraldry, numismatics and economic history. Volumes 3 and 4 present the history of Polish culture, while Volume 5 is an extensive discussion of geographical and ethnographic issues.
