New edition, revised and supplemented.

A rare piece, preserved in good condition, minor discoloration and traces of flooding 126-127 pp. Brown leather with four-panel spine and decorated embossing. Gilded titling on black signboard, gilded page edges. Classic binding made by hand in the bindery of the Polish Antiquarian.

The most comprehensive edition of the first translations of the poetry classic translated by A. Krauhar. Quoting after H. Sienkiewicz:

Today, says his father-in-law, that when a quarter of a century passed over this grave, the mistakes of the man were forgotten in order to honor in him a man of ideas, a profound thinker, an incomparable poet and one of the most brilliant satirists who ever worked in the political and literary arena.
