[POTOCKA Maria Anna]. Potocka Gallery. Collection of 8 catalogs of exhibitions organized by the Potocka Gallery in Cracow between 1990 and 2000.
Catalogs form. ca. 29.8x21 cm, each numbering several pages, sometimes including graphic prints and photographic reproductions of works. On front covers stamp "Potocka Gallery. Collection of Artists, Museum of Artists" (in one case "Museum of Current Art"), on the back covers the address of the gallery and the duration of the exhibition. The catalogs were issued in an edition of 100 numbered copies, each signed by the artist. The collection consists of catalogs for the following exhibitions:

Potocka Gallery - "a gallery of contemporary art operating from 1986 to 2010 in Cracow [...]. The owner of the gallery was Maria Anna Potocka. The gallery organized nearly 100 exhibitions and published 50 editions of catalogs signed by artists. It had a library with a collection of Polish and foreign publications devoted to contemporary art [...]. It published the Artists' Magazine "Tumult". From the beginning, the owner's ambition was to create a museum of contemporary art in Krakow. Over the course of the gallery's operation, it built up a collection derived from artists' donations. In 2007, when the collection was temporarily relocated to Krakow's Kazimierz district, it numbered about 800 exhibits. It was initially exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Niepołomice, and in 2011 and 2014 it went as a donation to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow MOCAK, of which Maria Anna Potocka has been director since 2010" (Wikipedia).
