CZERWONY Sztandar. Organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Poland. Warsaw. 4. brochure.
R. 7, no. 6: XI 1973. pp. 7, [1].
Good condition. A single issue of the orthodox communist magazine established by Maoist Kazimierz Mijal. In 1965 Mijal founded the illegal KPP party in Warsaw, bringing together mainly PZPR activists ousted from power by W. Gomułka. Mijal left Poland illegally in 1966 and settled in Albania, from where he led the party he founded, which was broken up by the SB after a few years. From 1978 to 1983 Mijal was in China, after which he illegally returned to the country, where he was arrested. He died in 1996.In the Red Banner, he sharply attacked the government in Warsaw, considering its members to be "renegades of communism, agents of the bourgeoisie," just like the "revisionist Kremlin and its hounds." He cited Communist Albania and China as models. The number included, among other things, the extensive text "The PZPR mini-reunion reinforced the course toward capitalism and the fascialization of life in the country." Curio.
