Austria, Vienna, 1920s (1920s/30s?) 20th century.
On a low circular base with pearlwork, standing in a dancing pose is a young woman in a blue dress with a short flared skirt with floral triangles, with a pointed neckline, wearing blue heeled slippers. In her hair pinned loosely above the nape of her neck - a headdress with a garland of yellow flowers and blue feathers. Through the folded back hands thrown turquoise-blue wide shawl-scarf.
The author of the model - sculptor Wilhelm Thomasch was a graduate of the Kunstgewerbeschule in Teplitz and the Academy in Vienna. He worked for Goldscheider in the 1920s, and also did figural plastic designs for the Pacikov factory at that time; from 1926 he worked at his own factory in Sierndorf.
