Born in 1979 in Tarnow, Poland. In 1994-1999 he attended Artur Grottger PLSP in Tarnów and graduated with a specialization in Artistic Furniture. In 2004, he defended his diploma at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, in the sculpture studio of Jerzy Nowakowski. Before and during his studies, he was active in Jacek Kucaba's Author's Art Group Ruchome Święto.In his work, he draws on themes from the world of widely understood culture, with which he balances between classical and pop cultural styles, treating them problematically, socially or with wit and lightness. He draws inspiration from his childhood years, finding in them a link between design and his original belief in animism. In 2007 he opened his own sculpture and painting studio, and since 2008 he has been creating small sculptural series in cast ceramics, which form the Marius Dydo brand. The artist's works can be seen in public spaces, churches and museums in Poland and abroad, in addition, they can be found in private collections in Luxembourg, Germany, Sweden and the UK, among others.
