Hand closed, brass binding, basket-shaped. Sessile, triple-barreled yoke. The rear arm of the hilt curled into a flat volute towards the head, the front one, twice arched towards the head, forms the main bail connected to the headstock. Two side bails connect to the main bail at its upper part. A long, reaching to the hilt cap fixed on the head with a decorative nut in the shape of a nine-leaf rosette, bottom wedged in the socket of the hilt's rear arm. The cap at the top is carved in the shape of a shield decorated with an embossed crowned eagle on an amazon shield. Handle shaft of solid wood, tapering to the top, with seven diagonal notches. Traces of black paint. Under the back arm of the hilt a signature beaten in an oval: "MORAWSKI W WARSZAWIE". Steel blade, polished, with considerable curvature. Profiled on both sides into a single dorsal groove, reaching a long, double-edged pen. The hilt in the line of the ridge. On the inner amphibian, under the cap, stamped roundel with a crowned eagle, the letters "G.U.Z.A." (General Office of Army Supply). Below the manufacturer's stamp "G. BOROWSKI IN WARSAW" and the number "721." Neutralized corrosion throughout. P o c h w a steel, polished, with two riffles, with movable butt caps on the back. Smooth neck fixed in the scabbard sheath by a press fit. The scabbard ended with a prominent, asymmetrical spur.
