Large-format, period-colored map of Southern Russia and the Caucasus and part of northern Turkey. Themap is from the famous Hachette publishing houseAtlas of the World by Louis Vivien de Saint-Martin (1802-1896) and Franz Schrader (1844-1924). The edition of which the map is for sale was devoted to territorial changes after the First World War and the formation of new states. An interesting feature of the map is that the geographical name "Ukraine" is used for the area from Podolia to Kharkov.
Piece well preserved, a folding mark in the middle due to the large format of the map; all pasted on bristol; condition db.
