JACKET OF LANCER OF THE MILITIA OF THE CITY OF KRAKOW, XIXTH CENTURY.

Jacket made of navy blue cloth with amaranth piping and rebate. Rabat overlapped, from the top, lined with navy blue cloth. The cloth epaulettes are navy blue, lined with amaranth cloth with such piping. At the back, in the state, a slit with two flaps, also finished with piping. Inside there are horizontal pockets. The jacket is fastened with metal hooks and metal multi-part buttons with the coat of arms of Krakow, unsigned (identical to the buttons on the epaulettes of a Krakow Militia officer from the collection of the National Museum in Krakow). Lined with thick cotton canvas, black satin at the bottom. Inside, on the lining, old ownership stamp of the Municipal Theater (today's Słowacki Theater) from before 1909.
