First printing of a comprehensive philosophical and astronomical treatise containing also the author's theses on the Copernican system, which were published separately in the same year under the title "Systema mundi juxta Copernicanum". It contains Tractatus I: Dialecta; Tractatus II: Logica; Tractatus III: Physicae universalis; Tractatus IV: Physica specialis; Tractatus V: Metaphysica. The work is illustrated with 6 copperplate engravings devoted to physical experiments (2) and astronomy (4).
