Reymont, later winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. Report from a Warsaw pilgrimage to Czestochowa - a special one, because it was organized on the centenary of the Kosciuszko Insurrection. The text originally appeared in "Tygodnik Illustrowany" in 1894. The piece, written at the inspiration of Aleksander Swietochowski, gained fame for the young Reymont thanks to a flattering, extended review by Ludwik Krzywicki published in "Pravda". The illustrations, reproduced after the press edition, were done by Anthony Austen.
