No. 3. 1921: "When Gliczner arrived in Cracow, he was entrusted with the task of compiling an edition of a book by Reinhard Lorich, a professor in Marburg-Hessen. It is a comprehensive work discussing in 95 chapters the upbringing and life not so much of princes, but rather of mighty men, of the great state, who command others. The content of the book actually goes beyond the framework outlined in the title, as it deals less with the proper upbringing and education than with the later life of the privileged social strata. Lorich's book was translated by Stanislav Koszucki, a household member of Nicholas Radziwill and later secretary to Queen Rarbara. The popularity of Lorich's book can probably be explained by the fact that in the Polish nobility there were so many people of great status who commanded others.
