Polonica 123. very good condition. Includes, among other things, lists of the fallen. Numerous illustrations in the text. Covers allude to the regimental colors of emerald yellow with white veining; book block bound with white and yellow cord, colored imprint of the regimental badge on the front. The regiment was stationed in Lancut until 1939, being part of Colonel Stanislaw Maczek's 10th Cavalry Brigade. The regiment was revived in France in 1939 and then in England, and in 1944-45 fought as part of the 1st Armored Division in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. In 1945-47 it took part in the occupation of part of German territory. Book printed in Ghent (Belgium), in the liberation of which the regiment took an active part. Infrequent.
