Polish photographer and precursor of digital photomontage. Active in the United States since 1959. Graduate of the PLSP in Cracow and student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In the 1950s he left Poland to study photography and advertising at New York's Pratt Institue. After graduation, he collaborated with Richard Avedon, including a photo shoot of Salvador Dali. Art director of Grey Advertising. In 1967 he started his own advertising agency specializing in advertising and editorial photography. His work was inspired by the Surrealist tradition and innovative photographic techniques.
