Biography
Stayed in Belgium from 1863-1871, and then from 1871 in Cracow, where he studied drawing with E. Lepszy. From 1880 or 1881 he studied painting in Brussels under M. van Alphen. After a year, he went to Paris, where he joined the Academie Julian. In 1889, he was awarded a first-class gold medal at the Blanc et Noir exhibition in Paris. In 1900, he received a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. According to J. Jaworska, Jasinski was one of the most outstanding reproductive printmakers in Europe.
