The icon depicts an image of the Virgin Mary with Child in Hodegetria type. Our Lady of Kozle, a meaningful icon showing the tragically concerned expression on Mary's face, gives a very reflective yet gentle face. The work has a gold background with prominent nimbus. The original is in the Church of St. Sigismund and St. Hedwig of Silesia in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The handicraft is painted on alder board. The saints are surrounded by a golden aura of gilding. The icon is painted with acrylic paints.
