St. Nicholas of Myra - Catholic and Orthodox saint. The earliest accounts of him date back to the 6th century. He lived at the turn of the 3rd and 4th centuries, was bishop of Myra in Lycia, and was famous for his miracles and for helping the poor and needy. His largest shrine is located in Bari, Italy.
