A knight in armor and cloak, on a white steed, hitting a dragon crawling at his feet with a spear. Above his head in the corner on the left - a medallion with Christ. The scene is observed by the rescued Princess Elisabe, daughter of King Selene of Libya. Saint George the Victor ("Pobiedonosiec") - died as a martyr in 303 under Emperor Diocletian. In the tradition of the Eastern Church, he is the most popular of the holy knights (others are Dmitri, Procopius and Theodore).
