Odo Dobrowolski (1883-1917) - Polish graphic artist and painter. Born in Chernivtsi, he studied fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow as a free student. He then went to Paris, where he benefited from the tutelage of, among others, Jan Styka. After a brief stay in Munich, he settled in Lvov, then left for Russia in 1915. He died in Kiev in 1917.
The artist left behind works done primarily in watercolor, gouache, pastel or ink drawings. In 1915 he published a series of color autolithographs presenting the most beautiful views of Lviv. [biography after "Słownik artystów polskich", Wroclaw 1975, vol. II].
