Mieczysław Treter (1883-1943) - organizer of Polish museology after 1918, museologist, participant and animator of interwar artistic life ; Ignacy Chrzanowski (1866-1940) - historian of literature, professor at Jagiellonian University, arrested by Germans during Sonderaktion Krakau action, martyred in concentration camp. Very good condition. Provenance: (1) Gregory Niecia's book collection (stamp. on front cover). (2) Edmund Puzdrowski's library: Polish Romanticism (ex-libris of J. Halicki).
