Spine covered with paper, minor rubbing of covers, otherwise very good condition. Engraving by H. Bednarski, Lviv; sealed stamp on title page. The work, one of the most important in Mickiewicz's oeuvre, was written at the turn of 1826/1827. The first printing appeared in St. Petersburg in 1828. The edition presented here is the first Czech translation (and one of the earliest translations of "Konrad Wallenrod" into foreign languages), made by Vaclav Štulc.
