Henryk Plóciennik (1933-2020), one of the most prominent graphic artists, painter, illustrator. He exhibited his works in more than 100 individual and more than 160 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad A native of Lodz, without academic education, but was one of the most outstanding Polish graphic artists. He was a member of ZPAP since 1962. He was involved in printmaking, ex-libris, drawing and easel painting. His works have been exhibited in Belgium, France, Spain, Japan, Canada, Mexico, the United States and Cuba, among others, and have also found their way into the collections of the National Museums in Warsaw, Krakow and Poznan and the Art Museum in Lodz. He has received more than 40 awards and prizes at exhibitions and competitions.
