Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, initially in the poster studio of Prof. Maciej Makarewicz, then in the lithography studio of Prof. Konrad Srzednicki, where he received his diploma with honors in 1956. In 1959, he received a scholarship from the French Government to study in Paris at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in the lithography studio under Prof. Pierre Clairin. He was a lecturer in lithography at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 1982, he was appointed as an associate professor at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan. He was the recipient of many awards, including an award from the Minister of Culture and Art for his creative achievements and teaching work (1971).
