Painter, outstanding draftsman and graphic artist. After graduating from the Lviv gymnasium, he studied as a free student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 1908-09 he stayed in Paris under the tutelage of Jan Styka. In 1909 he visited Munich, then returned to Lviv. In 1911-12 he was in Paris again. In 1915 he left for Russia. He painted portraits and atmospheric landscapes, usually with architectural motifs - mainly from Lvov, Krakow, Paris or other French cities. He worked primarily in watercolor, pastel, tempera or ink; less often in oil. He was involved in lithography; in 1915 he published a portfolio of 10 color autolithographs Lvov 1914-1915.
