Incomplete (without one) set of engravings made, lithographed and published by Julius Volkmar Fleck in 1868. two boards form. 21.3x26.8, others smaller: ca 15.5x23.5 cm. Lithographs signed on lower margin in Russian and Polish. Under the compositions signatures on stone: "Drawn from nature by J. V. Fleck" and "In Litogr. J. V. Fleck in Warsaw." Warsaw lithographer J. V. Fleck for his support of the manifestations preceding the January Uprising was exiled to Tomsk, where he stayed from 1863 to 1868. At that time he made a number of view drawings, which were used to make a series of 10 lithographs published after his return to Warsaw in 1868. The set presented here includes boards: 1. View of the Resurrection Orthodox Church in Tomsk, 2. Annunciation Orthodox Church, City Hall and Magistrate in Tomsk, 3. Evangelical Church in Tomsk, 4. View of Tomsk from above behind the city park, 5. Bassandayka Farm near Tomsk, 6. View of Tomsk from the monastery park, 7. M. Tomsk from the eastern side, 8. M. Tomsk from the northern side (A), 9. M. Tomsk from the northern side (B) (numbering according to the catalog "Vidy Tomsk. Katalog-albom lithografij", Tomsk 2015). One board is missing for the set: Tomsk from the north (C) with the city coat of arms in the lower margin and the date of issue 1868. Some sources (N. Budzynska "Witkiewicz, father of Witkacy) mention allegedly dozens of lithographs issued in this series, but only ten are known. Very rare.
