Heyduk 63. Sheet from Samuel Pufendorf's work "De rebus a Carolo Gustavo Sueciae Regegestis" (Nuremberg 1696). Title on pinned cloth at left edge. In the lower part the signature of the engraver "F. D. apointe sculp" and "N. 28". "Plan of the city through which the river Pregolese flows. The area of the old city and the new, attached districts, surrounded by strong bastion fortifications [...] are marked. At the bottom of the engraving a cross-section of the ramparts of the new type" (Heyduk). Minor yellowing of the sheet, good condition. Figure enclosed in a common wooden frame, under passe-partout, behind glass.
