[Lvov, calendar]. Board calendar for 1873 "Lvov periodical press" by Karol Mlodnicki.
Photographic print form. 18x21.5 on cardboard backing form. 24.5x32.5 cm. At the side edges boards detailing the patron saints of the days of successive months. The central part of the composition is occupied by a theater scene with numerous figures in the park against the background of the Lviv skyline. It portrays 18 editors of Lviv periodicals, the names of which are incorporated into the painting (Szczutek, Świt, Strzecha, Przegląd Lwowski, Szkoła, Dziennik, Opiekun Dzieci, Dziennik Polski and others). Above the lower edge, inscriptions: "photographed and published by Józef Eder" and "painted by K. Młodnicki". On the lower margin of the backing a blind embossed stamp: "Józef Eder's Photographic Department in Lviv". Sheet covered with protective tissue paper, on which figures visible in the composition are numbered. On the back, on a glued card, the names of all the editors portrayed are listed (including: Bełza, Richter, Zawadzki, Zajączkowski, Kostecki, Dobrzański, Lam). The object comes from the collection of Adam Sas-Labinowicz (1919-1987) - art historian, collector of Lvov memorabilia. Good condition.
